  • 1/3 cup Besan (gram flour) (for batter)
  • 2 tbsp Rice flour (chawal ka atta)
  • 1 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste (adrak-lehsun paste)
  • 1/2 tsp Ajwain (carom seeds)
  • 1 tsp Red chili powder (lal mirch)
  • 1/2 tsp Amchur powder (dry mango powder)
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder (haldi)
  • as per taste Salt (namak)
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice (nimbu ras)
  • 2 tbsp Mustard oil (or olive oil for shallow fry) (sarson ka tel)
  • 2 tbsp, chopped Fresh coriander leaves (dhaniya patta) - optional
